Hustlin' at The Sharks Lounge.

Well today was fun! I went all over Daytona on the bus with Danny and some girl from the hotel. She is tryin' to find a job and she won't dance, so she wants to work as a waitress or as a housekeeper. She is from Daytona and is so down and out, her man is outta work too 'cause he's a drunk. I've been busy tonight making some money. The Sharks Lounge is good for me, I'm doing good there and it's only about three blocks from the hotel!

I finally called daddy. I kinda left on bad terms. He wasn't mad but was short with me on the phone. Ms. Parker is driving he and Aunt Gaynelle crazy, always needing something. Danny has been with her his whole life and she don't know what to do with out him. Daddy figured out I'm dancin' and he hates it. He keeps telling me to go back to the bunny ranch, does he really think I'm working in the kitchen there?? He has to know what I was doing there! Damn, bakers don't make $2,500 + a week!

I'm going to Kentucky on a plane :)

I hit the slots at Sam's Town for $2,ooo!! Can you believe it???? I was mostly just sitting there sipping beers for free and the starts and bars machine went off and I won $2,000!! My luck is usually not this good! I'm going home for a few days to see daddy. It's gonna be a surprise. I bought my plane ticket and I'm leavin' tonight!

I haven't seen daddy in so long! I got a pocket full of money and new stuff to show off, I'm a little afraid of bein' in Kentucky, it makes me want bad stuff like meth. I can't go through that again. Everything is going so well. How can I avoid that shit?? Just stick with daddy, spend all my time with him and don't tell anyone I'm in town. I'm excited and scared my favorite feeling.

I forgot how much I hate ridin' a bus anywhere. Damn, I slept all the way to Houston and now I got to wait here at this filthy bus station till the next one comes cause I missed mine. This nice lady let me sit by her, she hums religious songs so nice it put me to sleep. I need to wash my hair, it smells like smoke. This bus stop has a shower but it is nasty. Maybe the next one will be nicer.

I dreamt about Las Vegas. I can't wait to see the lights and play on the slot machines. My great Aunt Ginny use to love them slots. Once she came out to Las Vegas from Mississippi and won $2,000! She was hooked after that! Spent nearly $200,000 trying to win more before she died at 92 years old. She was my favorite Aunt.
